Wimbledon is the oldest and one of the most prestigious events in tennis.
It is held between June and July in London, United Kingdom: the tournament is the third Grand Slam event played each year, after t the Australian open and the French open, and before the US open.

The current men's champion is Rodger Federer, who has retained this title since 2003, beating Andy Roddick twice in the final. The Ladies final was won last year by Venus Williams, for the forth time this competition has been heavily dominated by the Williams sisters over this past eight years, between them they have won six of the eight finals!

The mixed men's doubles was won by Bob and Mike Bryan while the ladies doubles was won by Zi Yan and Jie Zheng.
The mixed double title went to Andy Ram and Vera Zvonareva.
