The Welsh National Rugby Union team has had a long and decorated history, winning a huge 23 six nation titles.  There weren’t many teams around in the 70’s who liked going to the Cardiff Arms Park.  Now of course Wales play their games in one of the worlds greatest and most advanced stadiums; the Millennium stadium, which holds around 75,000.

The Dragons (as they are affectionately known) hold a unique spot in Welsh culture.  John Bale was once quoted as saying “rugby is characteristically Welsh”, indeed something in the Welsh psyche seems to have a unquenchable thirst for the game of rugby. 

The official sponsor of the team SA Brain brewery, keeps the tradition of local honour going as the brewery is and always has been a Cardiff one.  When the welsh team play in France the brewery’s name has to be altered due to French law restrictions on alcohol advertisement.  Wittingly the brewery came up with “Brawn” to replace “Brains” and when they went back in 2007 they changed it to “Brawn Again”! - both times using the exact same font.
