The Wales National Rugby Union Team represents Wales in international competitions.  They compete in the Six Nations Championship and the World Cup amongst other competitions.

The team played their first match in 1881 against England and have won the Six Nations Championship 23 times, which is second only to England.  The last time being in 2005. They ranked third in the 1987 World Cup and hosted the 1999 tournament.
