The Scotland National Rugby Union Team represent Scotland in international competitions and is governed by the Scottish Rugby Union.
They compete in the Six Nations Championship and the World Cup and  various other  competitions.

The Scottish football union was founded in 1873, but in 1924 changed its name to become the Scottish Rugby Union.  They originally played their home games at Inverleith from 1899 to 1925 when their current home was opened – Murrayfield.

Scotland claim to be the founding nation to have developed the sport of rugby and have a very detailed and interesting history in the sport.
The coach to the current Scottish rugby team is Frank Hadden and captain is Jason White, they played their first international game against England in 1871 and won 4 – 1, this was also the first record of a International games between two nations in the history of rugby.
