Newcastle United Football Club,

were founded in 1892, after the merger of two local clubs – Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End.  With its long standing history it is not surprise they have one of the largest followings throughout English football.

Within the first few years of the creation of the team Newcastle went on to take claim the league in 1905, 1907 and 1909 and they also reached five FA cup finals in seven years, but only winning one, without doubt in the early years they were a top, top team.

However, as expected the clubs run of good form did not last and the club began to fall, but with the return of Kevin Keegan in the mid '90's as manager to the club things began to look up!

Graeme Souness was appointed after the dismissal of Sir Bobby Robson, and after an initial good start, he pulled Newcastle out of the bottom half of the division, but after a poor start to the following season he was sacked and Glenn Roeder along with player manager Alan Shearer, between them they raised Newcastle out of relegation worries and to the top seven of the league, Roeder was appointed as full time manager.  But he too has subsequently gotten the sack after a bad run of form.  Sam Allardyce is the latest man to try and bring success to the North East club.

The team's home stadium is St James' Park, and their traditional home colours are black and white.  Hence the nickname 'the magpies'.  We have a number of DVD's detailing the clubs history as well as other memorabilia.
