Held in Fuji, the Japanese Grand Prix will last from the 28th of September to the 30th and takes place on a circuit over 305km, where drivers will be required to complete a total of 67 laps. As with the other Grand Prix races, training and practice on the actual circuit is expected to occur from Friday to Saturday morning, whereupon heats and the qualifying round will eliminate drivers on Saturday afternoon, leaving space for the big race on Sunday.

Arguably the most successful driver to have emerged from the Japanese Grand Prix was Michael Schumacher for Ferrari, winning the race a total of six times, most recently in 2004. Then in 2005 his younger brother Ralf Schumacher won for Toyota followed by Fernando Alonso in 2006.

This year's Grand Prix Japan is anyone's claim – with so many fantastic international legends competing for the prize, the race is expected to be thrilling, exciting, and a great day out for all.
