The Ireland National Rugby Team represent Ireland (both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) in international competitions.
Ireland annually compete in the Six Nations Championship and in the World Cup every four years.

They have won the Six Nations Championship ten times and shared the victory eight times, achieving one Grand Slam and the Triple Crown eight times.
They wear the traditional Irish green shirt and white shorts at all home matches.

Irish rugby has been a growing sport throughout recent years, with the development of an good squad and panel, they are currently ranked 7th in world rankings and in next 6 nations they will be stealy determined to do well and exercise the demons of a bad World Cup.

The curren team are managed by Eddie O'Sullivan and captained by Brian O'Driscoll.  The have got some of the top players in rugby such as the recently appointed captain of Leinster and a member of the Lion squad: Shane Horgan and Geordan Murphy.
