The Irish rugby shirt is a green shirt with white shorts and green socks, this was the original colour since the formation of rugby within in the country, but the design has changed a number of times throughout the years.

The crest of the team is a rugby ball resting on three shamrocks with the letters IRFC in a banner below, the crest is green and white.

Rugby has been a popular sport within the whole of Ireland for a number of years, they played their first international match with England in 1875, and the sport has come a long way since these early days!

They are currently coached by Eddie O'Sullivan and captained by Brian O'Driscoll.
Their home ground is currently under redevelopment and their new home at Crock Park, still located within central Dublin city it is the home to the national Irish sport – Gaelic games.
