forumla-secondThe China Grand Prix is generally held at the end of October, and this year will take place at the Shanghai International Circuit. Previous winners include Michael Schumacher for Ferrari last year, and prior to that Fernando Alonso for Renault in 2005. The Chinese Grand Prix only began in 2004, and is therefore one of the Grand Prix's newest tours.


On Friday 5th October, both morning and afternoon will be given over to practice, at which point drivers will be able to test the circuit and get a feel for the course. The next day, practice will take place in the morning, and a qualifying heat in the afternoon in preperation for the big race on Sunday. A total of 56 laps will need to be completed by the drivers, meaning that the overall distance of the race will amount to over 305km.
