Australia has a long running history of great rugby,

with some brilliant players making up a great team. The country is still currently getting over the disappointed of being knocked out in the quarter-finals of the recent World Cup, by England.  Australia were highly fancied to go the whole way in the tournament and England surprised everybody with the win.

Australia have also got fantastic pedigree in rugby league.  The national team has amazingly won every world cup since 1975!  And next they hosted the 2003 Rugby League World Cup.
